Expanded Learning Concepts was created to meet the growing demand for professional development, teacher support and programs for parents working with children with learning differences. Charlene Abrahams and Heather Wilson have developed workshops and seminars to meet the needs of educational professionals looking to enrich their programs and expand their knowledge of successful techniques for use in early learning environments. ELC will provide training courses at one of their training centres. Training centres are located in Oakville and Paris Ontario, Canada. On-site programs that are specifically tailored to meet the needs of individual schools or early learning centres are also available.
Parent education programs are offered to community organizations, parent-child resource centres and support groups. Our qualified parent workshop facilitator will provide your organization with stimulating and informative workshops that provide activities for use in home environments. Many of the workshops have been researched and developed by national foundations that focus on early learning and parenting programs.
Programs that incorporate an ABA-Montessori blend for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder are available through home-therapy and consultations services. CHOICES© -A Direct Teaching Social Skills Program is also available for children 4-8 years of age with learning differences.
In-home tutoring services are offered through our partner company GradeHelpers.
