Recommended Reading for Montessori Professionals
The following list of references will provide professionals with a summary of Montessori literature and holistic teaching books.
Montessori for Everyone offers materials for all the curricular areas, including language, reading, math, art, music, science, history, and geography. Our materials are designed specifically for the Montessori classroom; stunning photos, lovely drawings, and well-written text set our materials apart.
This supplier provides PDF files for you to download and print your own materials to save you money. You may also buy CD- ROMS of entire Casa and Elementary material sets. This is a great site with a multitude of information and links. There are many free downloadable materials also available.
Here is an overview of the contact numbers and details for full certification, Montessori Accreditation Council of Teacher Education (MACTE) accredited Casa (3 - 6 years of age) Diploma Courses.
We only recommend MACTE accredited training courses for full Montessori Accreditation. Online and correspondence programs do not offer the high quality interactive programs that are required to fully understand the Montessori Method. These programs provide a guarantee that the program meets current standards and competencies of MACTE. Most schools will only hire teachers with a MACTE accredited diploma.
